Consulting
A Comprehensive Approach
Consultation with an advocate can help parents to get a better grasp of the educational system. Allowing us to review school documents, testing results, and other documents related to your child lets us help you better understand where your child is at educationally and help you to come up with a plan moving forward.
Advocacy
Support and Negotiation
Schools often have a large number of professionals on their side of the table. Advocacy is a great way to have a professional on your side to help you plan and negotiate. We can come alongside you and help you during all types of meetings related to your child's educational needs in both public and private schools.
Homeschool Review and Planning
Direction and Guidance
Homeschooling a child can be challenging, especially if they have special learning needs. Having an educator to walk alongside you can be a huge asset. We enjoy walking alongside homeschool families to design programs for their children, answer questions throughout the year, and do portfolio reviews at the end of the year to meet state standards.
Educational Tutoring
The Path to Success
Your child's educational struggle often needs one-to-one support. If your child has dyslexia, dysgraphia or dyscalculia, working with a qualified tutor is important. Trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach through the Orton-Gillingham Academy, we can help your child gain the skills needed to be successful in reading, writing and math.
